Artist Statement I started taking pictures when I was very little, mainly to avoid boredom while traveling with my father. Over time, boredom turned into interest, and interest into passion. Years later, thanks to the encouragement of some friends, I decided I wanted to turn this hobby into a career. I joined the " Scuola Romana di Fotografia" and undertook a 3-year program with the intention of becoming a professional photographer and great reporter. My goal was to travel the world, and see and show its corruption. My life has changed since, and so did my project. I no longer wanted to see the corruption of the world, but its beauty.
After some initial work with nonprofit agencies, I have been collaborating happily with international photo agencies for many years now. During this time, I spent years in my studio photographing mainly food and miscellaneous items. I realized in this work how much beauty there can be in our nature, in our food, in the simple things of life.
Then I got sick with wanderlust and now i'm just wandering through this amazing world of ours.
