Artist Statement
While living in Japan during her childhood, she took art classes in charcoal and watercolors.


She enjoyed the aspect of the developing while in the darkroom even more then photography itself , as she had control of the exposure of darkness and light; which led her to painting. She found her passion in painting, as she is able to create darkness and lighting within her works.
As she says," it's always about light and dark and how they play off one another".
