Artist Statement It's the process that adds to the experience, to the artwork's essence. Each muse takes me on a journey within myself. I am there. Feeling the colors around me, imagining what the environment smells like, sounds like, feels like. Instant reflections back and forth of thought, emotion and color. Each direction that I am lead by my moment to moment decisions, mistakes, & intuition, it all takes me to a place I could not have even imagined. Art is crystallized emotion. It is a life of it's own. Allow your expression to flow out gracefully; there is no right or wrong.
I was born and raised on the beaches of the sunshine state, Florida. My family has always supported my love for creating artwork since I won my first contest at the age of 4. All I have ever wanted to do was portray the beauty I see in the world around me. The best way I know how is through painting. After completing my degree at an ivy league college as well as a fine art academy, I now own my own working art studio and art gallery in the old city district of Philadelphia called, Lindsay Rapp Gallery. It is a dream come true, and I wish to inspire, and connect everyone to the beauty and light I see in our world through my artwork.
