Artist Statement I am working to bring to my viewers, the warmth of the wind and the smell of the air. When I create a portrait or invent a situation. It is the situation I want to share, my goal is to try to bring to the canvas a soul and dimension of the experience I have when I am with someone special. When the morning sun is shining across the mountains or through the windows in my studio. I want you to always remember the simple moments, a smile, a pensive look, or that tree branch you never saw before.
After years of working in many mediums and colors, I am moving to a limited pallet and strictly oil painting for my finished product. I still intend to sketch and study in pastel, water color and oil pastels. But most of the work I will be offering for sale and print will be Oil Painting.
