Artist Statement I was born in Perth Scotland on Friday the 13th 1985. I moved to America when I was three years old. I live in the United States in a small town in New Jersey. Many of my fondest memories were from when I would visit my family in Scotland during the summer while growing up.
I graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Fine Art with a concentration in Illustration in May of 2007.
I moved back to Scotland in July 2008 and live in an apartment by Gleneagles in Scotland.
The themes of my artwork are created in a mythical world. I am interested in many different types of mythology, especially Celtic, since these are my roots. Create my images in a unique way with my use of color, I also create dramatic black and white images in charcoal. My color images are created in many different mediums, including, pastel, colored pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolor.
