Artist Statement I am a retired educator. I taught in the Missouri public school system for 29.5 years. After retiring as a High School Guidance Counselor, I taught at one of the small local colleges in the area. I taught computer information systems and then later psychology.

I do not teach on the High School or College level anymore. Too busy with the grand children, golf, the performing arts and being a professional Santa Claus.

I have always been interested in photography, but was not able to get very involved in photography until I retired.

My favorite subjects to photograph are birds.
