About the artist

Cathrine Preston, Mezieres Sur Issoire- Limousin-France
Member Since January 2008
Artist Statement Catherine has worked as an interior designer in London and then later went on to teach art in West Sussex. Her love of landscapes led her to eventually settle in the heart of France amongst green countryside and large natural lakes as well as ancient historical churches and villages. She currently sells her work to locals and tourists that visit her cafe in Mezieres Sur Issoire, France. Her gentle and soft approach to colour, lends itself nicely to selecting her work for interiors needing soft muted colours.
