John Lennon once said something about life being what happens while we're too busy making plans. It might be rather trite of me to suggest likewise, but I'd be lying if I didn't. Plans, hopes, dreams, schemes - everything almost seemed to unravel in an orgy of self-destruction. And then, at the edge of the abyss, something held me back... There are things in my life I've run from, but what I was actually meant to embrace, others that I - involuntarily - tried to discard, but have been lucky enough to still be with.
