Artist Statement Jorj Botinov's need for creative expression began at a very early age. After experimenting with many styles and mediums in his early work, the drive to find the essence of ones inner self along with his fascination with light and movement made abstract the inevitable choice of expression. His abstract paintings are not based on objects but rather the finished product emerging from an unrestricted exploration of colors, light, shapes, movement and mood.
