Artist Statement I have been a mathematics professor at Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls, Oregon since 1999. I am passionate about photography – it has taught me to carefully observe light, color and form. I did primarily black and white photography for a number of years, but have recently enjoyed working in color as well. I particularly enjoy scenes with limited color palettes or strong complementary colors. Some of my color photographs are textured, by “sandwiching” them with a fairly plain textured image to give a somewhat painterly look to the photographs.

All of my images should enlarge well up to medium or perhaps large sizes. I do my personal printing on Enhanced Matte paper, and Premium Photo Luster is nice as well, especially if you want a slightly shinier print. If you have more money to spend, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag and Fine Art Pearl are more expensive equivalents of the Enhanced Matte and Photo Luster papers. I would suggest standard paper printing and framing for all black and white images. Color images should present nicely in traditional framing or canvas.
