Description Boat Moorings - is a nautical art print created using a traditional watercolor technique of boats moored by a New England fishing village. This technique focuses on subtle colors and shading. The setting is a harbor lined by a New England fishing village. The harbor is a busy port for fisherman and other boaters. All around the harbor are docks and moors for the many boats that call the harbor home. New England is infamous for its fishing industry and the towns that support it. The natural setting of harbors, ocean and coastline creates an ideal situation for artists. When considering an art print, the interior design of the room comes into play and the look you are going for with any given print comes into the decision process. This particular style of art print works best in a traditional type of interior design, but is flexible depending on the way it is framed and matted.Follow my work:TheWallGallery: https://thewallgallery.comBlog: http://thewallgalleryblog.wordpress.com/Twitter:https://twitter.com/KirtWallGalleryFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TheWallGallery.KirtTisdaleCopyright 2021 Kirt Tisdale/TheWallGallery.com
Kirt Tisdale, Sherman Oaks Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
