Artist Statement I am a Michigan denizen, with deep family roots here. A lifelong passion for music and the arts has brought me back to photography. Spending time in the studio with internationally exhibited photographers has inspired me to search deeper for my muse, and has given me the courage to experiment. I am on an endless quest to develop the skills that allow me to create or capture powerful and beautiful images, and I've found that it is the learning curve itself that is what I'm loving the most. The advent of digital has resulted in a whole new set of tools for creating and editing, and a new world for me to explore. All works in this gallery began as a simple digital photograph.
