Artist Statement PHOTOGRAPHER-FINE ARTIST-PHOTOJOUNALIST

As experienced photographer and have worked for both clients and individuals alike for the past 14 years, it has only in the last couple of years I would call myself professional after studying a degree Fine Art.

As a Artist/Sculptor/Film Maker you could say i now specialise in Fine Art Photography of the Emotive Landscape… though I am knowledgeable and very capable in capturing a diverse range of photographic styles; From: Fashion, Art, Beauty, Commercial, Live performance Promotional, Portraiture as well as Bespoke portfolios.

My style is organic and I am inspirited my passion for Art and Photography but also tainted with the vision of the classic bygone age of film.

A lot of my inspiration come’s from Artists such as Don McCullin, Anton Corbijn Andres Serrano and Jean Baptiste Mondino.

As a photographer I like to experiment with new ideas, techniques and equipment as well as working with more classical and traditional styles and approaches to photography.

I look to undertake more unusual, edgy and experimental works in studio, location and postproduction. I have a particular interested in working with light and shadow. I would like to hear from anybody with any ideas or styles that are slightly more out of the ordinary.

My preference is to work up to an artistic nude level with both male and female of any shape or size as I feel the human body has so many different and unique forms.

When am only offering TFP/TFCD i ask for a models release forms to be signed at all shoots; this is to cover both model and photographer.

I am always on the lookout for new designers and make-up artists, so please get in touch!

Photojournalism is something I have huge amount of passion for, capturing peoples feelings and emotions in film or photography…

I have a love stark black and white images, I feel the images with the absence of colour or monotone deliver impacted and attention to detail.

My favorite areas of photojournalism I would say, is the Freedom to Demonstration and Protest. Many groups and movements have requested I attend and document their day of action, which have resulted in some thought provoking emotive images. Live performance is a landscape of emotion, which holds the lure of my lens along with the opportunities of Candid portraiture.

As an Artist I use photography as a means of expression within the field of all aspects of my creative vision as a Printmaker, Painter, Sculptor & Recycler.
