Artist Statement I was born in Teaneck N.J. By 16 i was playing drums in local bands which eventually led to being in an "almost famous" band. Touring ,MTV and all that fun, but we eventually fizzled out. I picked up a guitar with the need to create finally led me to drawing which i always dabbled in but just doodles and never ever thought id follow it for real. These drawings are literally therapy and escape from a world that sometimes spins a little too fast and ugly for me. After my mother passed away in '09 , i finished a record of songs id been working on and released it in 2012. Nolenz Volenz was born out of the necessity to reinvent my life. It means "whether you like it or not" which is what life often brings you. So i ride the waves like we all do and make the best of this short trip through the cosmos.
