The town has been occupied for 2,500 years, but the Romans fortified the citidel by 333AD. It has 1.9 miles of walls and 52 towers. This is the bridge at the main entrance.
James Lamb Member Since October 2018 Artist Statement I started taking snaps when I was a child, having a Kodak instamatic when I was about 7. At university in 1978 I was bought my first SLR - an Olympus OM1 - completely manual and built like a Swiss watch. When I started work taking pictures was relegated to weekends and holidays as finding time became more difficult. Now having retired I can pursue my passion.
