Artist Statement Ever since I was a small child art was my "thing". I remember my grand parents at one time actually began hiding notebooks (they for some reason had a four foot pile of notebooks) from me. I was obsessed! As I grew older my art passion flooded into various mediums, the most recent being that of photography.

My photography venture originally began out of a personal life epiphany after I had finally came to the end of a relationship I had in my life with someone. It was shocking for me to find that after two years all I had were a mere ten photos of us together. At that moment I decided to see to it that the rest of my life be a bit more well preserved, and that I took better care of the memories I have of those that I love.

The quality of my art has always been a big thing for me. Having two parents who are perfectionist in their own standing I do my best to take after them. In photography I feel I have walked into a room with a ceiling so far from my eyes I cannot see it. Being the more adventurous type I suppose, I am filled with excitement to see how high it goes. An endless amount of potential for growth.

I hardly consider myself a "professional" photographer. I am eager to learn. Comments or constructive criticism are welcomed and desired.
