Artist Statement Capturing a Minute Piece of Reality

Photographs use a rich and colorful language to tell a story, describe a feeling or capture a moment --- and force that moment to stand still long enough for us to make sense of it.

Photographs also create lasting memories; as what you see through the lens is forever captured in time because cameras have that magical ability of remembering all of the little things, long after we may have forgotten them. In other words, a photograph is a memory of the way it was.
