Artist Statement I really don't know what to say here... I think art should be able to stand without words or explanation. And yet, I offer up my words here for your consumption. I love to talk. 'm just trying to make it through life on my own terms. I'm a grill cook by day, and artist by night, and an eccentric all the time. I'm different. I've been told I can be difficult to understand. I think often I seem like one thing when really I am something entirely different. I've been called 'beautiful' and 'mysterious'. I am my artwork.

Many of my pieces are intentional manifestations of my subconscious. Instead of consciously directing what's being created, planning and painfully straining to fit my own ideal. I allow the experience to happen and then apply interpretations once everything has been expressed. I find it more exciting that way, more like me that way. I'll tell you my interpretations... and you can tell me yours. :)

Most of my works at this point are digital. It's a new media for me and I'm enjoying the experience. I mostly moved into this media out of convenience- paints are expensive and digital has no cleanup. My love is painting, but with a dog and cat running around it's difficult. So I consciously attempted to reproduce my painting style digitally. Here it is.

I'm new to this art world. I've had a lot of art education but I never wanted to make a job of it. Now I wonder if that's the only thing that i can do that will make me happy. So I'm throwing my hat into the ring and hoping something good comes from all of this. Enjoy my work... I enjoyed making it.
