Artist Statement Nine days after graduating high school, I left the small town of Bulverde, Texas to join the US Navy. “Join the Navy and see the world,” they said, never mentioning two thirds of the world is covered by water. Really, I did get to see some cool places during the eight years I served. One of the biggest regrets now almost a decade later is that I never took any pictures of all the places I’ve been.
Luckily, I’ve been given a second chance. Well, kind of. I travel a lot for work and support customers from coast to coast. Now armed with my Nikon D80, I try my best to seek out every photo opportunity I can, job permitting.
