Artist Statement Early on in my life I knew I wanted to be an artist. I would sit for hours and draw. I would mostly use pen and colored pencils. As a young adult I became interested in scuba diving. This opened up a whole new world to me. I purchased a camera so I can take photos of my adventures in the water and on land with the goal of using those as reference for my artwork. I soon discovered that I really enjoyed photography and delved head first into my new medium, I haven't looked back since.

I started working in a portrait studio so I can learn more about photography, 15 years later I decided I had enough of portrait and wedding photography. I wanted to create photographs that showed the world what I loved to explore, so I went into nature and wildlife photography. I hope you enjoy looking at my images here as I strive to continually improve and present the world the way I see it.
