Description CANDLE LIGHT IN THE TEMBLORS - SUPERBLOOM 2017 by Lynn Bauer - During the spring 'superbloom,' the landscape was literally overflowing with flowers in some locations. And, the Carrizo Plain and Temblor Mountains in California's Central Coast was one of those locations! Bright yellow monolopia, interesting and unique desert candles, and some type of orange mallow adorn the nearby hills of the Temblor Mountains, while distant hills look to be painted with these and other beautiful flowers! Taken off of Hurricane Road above the Elkhorn Grade in the Temblor Mountains. This area sits somewhere near the border of San Luis Obispo County and Kern County.
