Artist Statement Brenda Boorse was born with a desire to create art. She has had extensive instruction in art including private lessons and coursework at Tyler School of Art, Brenda fell in love with pastels four years ago when introduced to them by a local artist. Her art is motivated by love of forests, oceans and marshes. Along with the beautiful landscape in southeastern Pennsylvania, Brenda's regular travels to Florida, Jamaica and New England are a source of inspiration for her paintings.
