Artist Statement I have been drawing since I was 3 years old...and I knew then that I wanted to be an artist. I created a self portrait at 6 years old that I still have...and ever since I have been creating things...drawing, painting, making things with my hands, out of nothing...just creating. I also do pyrography. I became a graphic artist and love what I do, but I still create my own work on the side, at home, and love it! My current medium is to use photographs that I have taken, then stylize them into interesting pieces of art. Most are of my children and my surroundings.
