Description On a grey winter day when the snow had just ended I composed this image using lines and shapes for impact. On a bright sunny day the impact is lost so again the clouds are my friends.You are welcome to pick and choose your own print size, frame, matte, and glass. And don't forget you can even order a print alone or a canvass wrap.

Artist Statement Welcome to NearScapes

All images are printed on a variety of high quality papers using archival quality inks and materials suitable for home and office and make an excellent gift. Prints are also available as stand-alone prints or as canvas image-wraps.

Each image is presented with an example of a size and color combination that I recommend for the image but you are welcome to select your own size, frame, and matte combination to tailor your art to your own needs. You can even select your wall color to get an idea of how your artwork will look before you purchase.

Favorite Camera: I’ve shot in every format from the mini spy formats and 35mm all the way up to Deardorff 8x10 view camera. My favourite format is 6x7 but the cameras were typically so heavy it was hard to justify it. My son enjoys working with my trusted Nikon F3 and I’m currently shooting with digital Nikon and Canon gear. I love Nikon but find Canon has superior lens quality and intuitive features.

Favorite Subjects: Nature, scenic, and landscape but mostly subjects within arms reach. That's why I call them NearScapes.

Favorite Vacation Spot: My own backyard.
