Artist Statement Pete Adams was born in the twin city of Minneapolis, and grew up in Louisville,KY. His parents are both artists, so they had a big influence on him. Pete has one Brother and one Sister, whom are also Artists. Pete grew up in an art culture and has an appreciation for art. Pete currently lives in Evansville. Pete is a TV Director for WNIN-TV. He operates and directs the cameras and video switcher for the Government Meetings aired live on WNIN Cable 12. Pete earned an Associates Degree in Music and Audio Recording from Vincennes University in 2004. He would like to work more in creating music and helping local musicians record their demo.

Pete has been doing photography for over 10 years. It started with a job at the state fair organizing the 4-H photo exhibit. The next summer Pete was hired as a photography instructor at an Easter Seals Camp. There Pete gained a lot of darkroom experience during that summer. Pete uses primarly a digital camera, but would use 35mm film if it was cheaper. Pete takes mostly but is not limited to abstract photos,shot in Black and White and Color, and uses programs like Photoshop and Fireworks to further his artistic eye.
