Artist Statement I have a history in photography and art history. Living in Alaska I love to shoot landscapes and clouds. For portraits I like to take a photograph that has some attitude to it. When I paint it is usually to show others what I have seen in my minds eye, not necessarily what was in front of me. I am available to do custom painted portraits via email as well. I consider myself an "image maker", that is I combine photography, digital painting and artistic expression to get my end results. I love purists who don't vary from their medium but for me I like to express myself with whatever medium I find works with where I am going with the image.
