Artist Statement based in north carolina, i have been looking at the world through a viewfinder for more than 15 years. i started with a minolta X-700 32mm and a basic b/w class at nc state (taught by caroline vaughan -- see "borrowed time," published by duke univ press). since then, i have worked with a canon sure shot 105 35mm, a holga and a canon powershot digital. these days i primarily use a canon digital rebel XTi and continue to experiment with the holga, a camera phone, and other low-tech cameras..
