Description Asbjorn Lonvig's words: I have read the lyric. I have seen and heard it on the internet. I even saw and heard Beatles' original performance back in 1969. Formidable song. There is an enormous confusion about what the lyric means. I have studied different perceptions. I belive it is about the Beatles themselves. Each member of the group is described. Often in whimsical words and expressions. These whimsical words and expression has no logic meaning. But I think John plays with our subconscious. Thus. My interpretation is that John wants the guys in the Beatles to stick together - come together. I symbolize this by letting them hold each others hands. It's Paul, that is the nice boy with the nicest hear and no moustage. Then John with round glases and stuff. George has that funny shape of his moustage and he has the longest hair. At some point Ringo had a full beard and he of course played the drums.Artist: BeatlesWritten by John Lennon, Paul McCartneyPublished by Sony/ATV Tunes LLC (ASCAP)(c) 1969 Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC.All rights administered by Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC, 8 Music Square West, Nashville, TN37203.
