Artist Statement A banker turned photographer. I never chose art or the path of creative expression as my first option professionally, it was more of a self discovery process that led me to the lens.

Born and raised in the beautiful chaos that is the border city of Tijuana, here the U.S. merges with Mexico, where identities are shaped every day by the constant cultural interaction and exchange of the sister (but of different fathers) cities of Tijuana/San Diego.

My work is heavily influenced by my deep understanding of the corporate world and also by this conflicting and creative duality of my hometown.
