Artist Statement I have enjoyed making art most of my life. As a professional, I have worked as an arts administrator, art teacher, painter, gallery director, and even a cake decorator. My collages and paintings have been selected for national and local juried exhibitions in recent years.

Having lived in rural Virginia my entire adult life, I am inspired by the natural beauty around me, and have been very inspired while traveling with family and friends. I am fascinated with philosophy, history, archeology, and cultures.
