Artist Statement I was raised on a small farm in northern Alberta by my Mi'gmaq/Anishinaabe father and Polish mother. That multi-cultural, hard-working, somewhat isolated childhood made me the person I am today. I make contemporary aboriginal art that reflects love of the land, deep spirituality, and a fascination with theoretical science. My preferred media are ink and oil pastel on paper.
