Description This is a photo I caught of the crickets we feed my pet lizard, Apollo. They were all gathering under the heat lamp. My little sister was grossed out but I really like this picture!

Artist Statement The only passion I have is art in any form. It can always take me away from whatever pain I'm trying to cope with and that's why I love it. Most of my work was created during or around some of the darkest periods of my life. I wouldn't hesitate to say that art has saved my life a multitude of times. I think my art is unique in that I incorporate my poetry and feeling into my pieces, it is all original artwork and I have been building up my portfolio for years. Like I said, I love art in any form... I paint, draw, write, crochet and knit, photograph, and pretty much anything I can get my hands and my mind working on. I currently work as a newborn photographer in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I absolutely love it! I am so thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow and help people along the way.
