Artist Statement I am a self-styled artist, with no formal training from any school of arts; had started painting at the age of nine. A scientist in natural science,living in India, I am basically a lover of arts, a good musician capable of handling both carnatic and light tunes. I had take to painting seriously since 1992, my style being a harmonious blend of modern and the classic. Being a naturalist favorite themes of my painting are landscapes, oceans-capes and flowers; I like to experiment with water colors, oil, acrylic and mixed medium. .Living in God's Own Country - Kerala I have always been in the midst of greenery and the blue ocean..I try to capture the essence of nature in photographs and then translate these into my paintings..
