I am not a professional artist, but some people like what I create.
When I was in my twenties, I sold a few paintings and drawings. Finding myself recently compelled to live on my savings and paltry retirement income, I am trying to supplement by returning to doing art, at least in winter when the garden is somewhat dormant.

My own fascination with art has always been the mystery of how a very few marks and colors may powerfully compel the mind to comprehend something distinctly other than oil, canvas or pixels. That is probably why I prefer realism to abstraction, representation to conceptualization, painting to photography and drawing by hand to digital rendering based on ray tracing of a virtual reality.
