Artist Statement As a youth, I loved to paint! I enjoyed being free to create. Creating paintings or any type of art is a journey of learning. It is exciting to see the end results as my painting can evolve during the process. In my young adult years, I worked in the printing and graphic industry for about 15 years. Afterwards, my daughter was born and I became a stay at home mom. During this time, I began to paint where I left off about 30 years ago. I am a bit rusty, but I enjoy the challenge. It has taught me that it is ok to make mistakes along the way. I will continuously learn and explore different techniques in art.
