Artist Statement I am a professor and lighting designer that has only begun a renewed interest in painting in the last few years, beginning when covid shut down theatres for a while. I particularly love to paint courthouses in Texas where I reside due to the architecture of some of them as each community tried to make theirs special and better than their neighbors. What it achieved was a number of beautiful architecturally unique buildings.
