Description I loved this shabby chic chair I got at a garage sale. Perfect for moving around from under the deck to the yard when gardening. After a full day of 'straightening up' the yard, I was going inside to change my shoes and get some ice water. When I turned around, there were my gloves, snippers, and a freshly potted Anthurium (in my favorite vase) glowing in the orange of a late afternoon sun. Just enough strength left to hang up my hat and pick up my paint brushes. Here's to all the gardeners who know what a feeling of satisfaction it is to be at Day's End.Back story & art tips: http://www.joanterrellart.blogspot.comWeb site to buy originals: http://www.joanterrell.com
Joan Terrell, Braselton Member Since November 2013 Artist Statement I'm an artist living in disappearing rural Georgia about an hour outside of Atlanta. I love to create oil paintings of almost anything, but especially reflections in water, flowers and garden-related themes. My art has appeared in Atlanta area shows and galleries and I am honored that my art has been collected by many kind people worldwide.
