Description A ramshackle stile in a frosty field - taken in South Wales, November 2007. This collection of wood in striking amber grass was actually opposite the scene that I stopped to photograph. I didn't see this lovely shot until I turned around.
Trish Adlam, Stourport-on-Severn Member Since September 2008 Artist Statement I am blown away visually every day - by the talent of others, by architecture, by the curve of something caught out of the corner of my eye, by old wood and forgotten industry. If I capture and share even the vaguest echo of my delight, I have achieved what I set out to accomplish.
The still photograph is to moving pictures what poetry is to prose - less comprehensive perhaps, less literal even, yet somehow capable of expressing a deeper truth. --- Anonymous
