Artist Statement André Rosière is a painter in the pure impressionistic tradition. He began to expose his paintings in 2004.
He obtained the price of the public during his second exhibition to Crupet. From 2005, he has the chance to expose only in gallery. In 2006 he inaugurated his workshop which we can visit by appointment. The success being for the meeting, he was able to expose regularly so much in Flanders that in France and naturally in Wallonia in Belgium.
Some of his paintings are permanently explained at a trader's of art in Brussels. His passion for the painting took a big place in his life, to create became a vital need. André Rosière has a beautiful philosophy: the important, for him is to live the present moment, to share its small happiness with most large number, enter the others, by his painting.
This one does not look only with eyes but especially with heart. It emerges full of feelings, the serenity, the sensibility, sometimes even the sensualism. We can feel the peace of mind, the need of rest there, peace, beauty. We can find the enjoyment there to inhale, to see, to understand, in brief the joy of living. For our artist, the subject is only a pretext to make us discover feelings. Because for André Rosière the happiness to last must be shared! His subjects diversified: if we find in his paintings his small usual corners - nature, we discover it more and more characters who bring a supplementary. His impressionistic, vibrating paintings of lights, celebrate the beauty and the mystery of the nature and his characters. He reveals us his happy and positive feelings: his small happiness, as he says. He thinks that the true happiness is in the beauty there of these small moments which mark out our life every day.
