Artist Statement Jagdish Agarwal is a black and white fine art photographer of international repute.

The first photography exhibition where he won the 1st prize was the Indo-American Society Annual Photography Exhibition in 1969. The same photograph later won the 2nd prize in an All India Photography Exhibition. Subsequently he has won over 50 awards in photography exhibitions in India and Abroad.

He has had eight one man shows of photography. His one man show of black and white fine art photography, during Festival of India celebrations in USA in 1985 was widely appreciated.

His recent one man show of black and white fine art photography titled “Looking Back – 40 Years of Love with B & W Photography” in 2011, was in all the three air-conditioned Exhibition Galleries, a rare honour reserved for only very senior artists. In this show he sold hundreds of prints.

He is also the Founder of the first Photography Library of India – Dinodia Photo Agency started in 1987. He represents hundreds of photographers and has lakhs of photographs on www.dinodia.com

In his career Jagdish Agarwal has sold thousands of pictures for homes, offices, hotels and other interesting interior spaces.
