Artist Statement Emanuele La Loggia was born on April 17, 1974 in Milan, italy

He explored the link between art, technology and technological obsolescence.
He obtained a first level degree from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (110 cum laude) in the “New technologies for art” section. He discussed the thesis "From reality to virtual reality" in which he recreated an adventure game with 100 locations and puzzles and presented the video "Milano Imaginary Art Places" in which he travels around the city of Milan in search of places that represent similarities with existing works of art.

He continues his studies at Brera Academy of Fine Arts and in 2013 he completes the Master (110 cum laude) with a thesis about "Art and Obsolescence" in which he analyzes the evolution and obsolescence of traditional art towards a new form of art (virtual, game and technological) predicting years before the success of Oculus Rift, how the virtual hardware and software would evolve in our modern society.
