Artist Statement I'm a young web developer who can appreciate design to its fullest extent, and I've always had a strong desire to be creative.



At a very young age I took on the challenges of drawing. Pencil sketches taught me that it's acceptable to make mistakes, and more often than not, something with rough edges captures your vision exactly. However, I've found the most fulfillment in pen & ink drawings; the finite detail quickly became an obsession.



I'm now starting to extend my creative attention to detail through photography. As a web designer, I find much inspiration in photos and the ways in which they're expressed. From the colors to the perspective, I generate tons of ideas and gain motivation to design. And to me, often a picture is a design. The design being the choices one makes when the eye meets the viewfinder. The viewfinder shows precisely what the camera sees, allowing the photographer to make a design decision based on his or her visual interpretation of the camera's perception of the scene. A good photographer can see a design in the simplest of settings. It's an extreme challenge, but I find self-satisfaction in the end result.



Today, my design efforts are composed of things all around me. I try to focus on clear, crisp, and simple designs, and my "rough edges" are always intentional.
