Artist Statement I started the photo challenge 365 January 1, 2010. The objective is to shoot one picture a day for one year. So far I’ve lived up to the spirit of the challenge. I’ve posted in a private gallery one picture a day. The picture was shot within a couple of days if I couldn’t find a good picture from that day.

I’m a bit of a purist about photography, ok make that I’m old fashion. I rarely edit photos for more than cropping, size, and just lately for exposure, contrast and brightness. Anything I do in editing I could have done in a dark room 30 years ago.

I see the unusual in the boring. I love taking a picture that makes someone look at it and say “WOW” followed by “How did you do that?”

I hope you like my photographs. I loved taking them and I love sharing and hearing your thought about them.
