Artist Statement I am a traditionally trained artist, with a Bachelors degree in art, from Western Michigan University - 1980.
I have taken a few classes in digital art, but am mostly self taught in 2d as well as 3d applications.
My first love is drawing, and is the basis and foundation of all my work.
I like to take ideas from sketches that I do and build from there.
Most of my work to date has been in the commercial arena, specifically, Cd covers and posters related to album work.
I would like to produce a book of illustrations I have done over the years, in a concept format, similar to how some music albums have been done in the past.
Some of those illustrations will be seen here, to give a taste of what I enjoy doing.
