Description This is a view of downtown Columbus, Ohio, US, as seen from along the path of the riverside park that connects greenspace between the many bridges.Personally, this image is of significance as my very first photograph captured with my recently-aquired 1961 Graflex Century Graphic folding bellows camera. The lens used is a Xenar 105mm which is equivalent to a 50mm prime lens for this format camera. Shot on Fuji Acros 100ASA NeoPan B&W film, exposure size 69. 1/125 f/16.
William Wetmore, Miami Member Since August 2009 Artist Statement Find me on Instagram: @billw I sincerely hope you find beauty and relevance in my images here. For me, photography is a spiritual pursuit, almost a meditative practice, through which I appreciate the beauty of the world and share that appreciation with you.
I'm always looking for new ideas, and would be thrilled if you suggest topics of interest for me to attempt to capture. And, if you see something in here that you like, but would be interested in a slightly different version- don't hesitate to ask... for every picture in here, I probably have 10 others that I didn't post!
My advice to anyone: "Stop, look around. You'll see something beautiful, wherever you are."
