Description You are looking at part of the river Morava e Binces where it flows through the city of Vitina, Kosovo. I was deployed to Kosovo in 2003 with the 2nd Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment (2-63 AR) in support of the peacekeeping operations in Kosovo. Vitina was in 2-63 AR's area of responsibility. 2-63 spent most of the deployment living at Camp McGrath, on the outskirts of Vitina, before moving to Camp Bondsteel for the last two full months of its delployment.
We left Kosovo in July of 2003. Six months later, we deployed to Iraq.
Have a great day. If you've decided to buy a print or framed version of this photograph, I thank you.
