Artist Statement In the past 5 years or so, I've learned to enjoy road trips for what they are -- rather than the desitnation being important, enjoying the journey and the sights they bring. This country is blessed with so much physical beauty that not many of us can enjoy even a fraction of them first hand. Even if we were to all visit the same places, there is different beauty and experience depending on the time of the year and time of the day, with infinite variations in the lighting. So photographs are great ways to share our experiences with others, of that particular moment and place that touched us in some way.
