Description Driftwood Beach Tree Sunrise - Sunrise through the trees on driftwood beach. North of Jekyll Island is a beach call driftwood beach or some call it boneyard beach because of all the dead trees and stump that are immerses in the salt water daily a high tide. The trees are of course not alive but their roots hold firm to the sands and the trees give these really cool look as the sun comes up in the early morning along the driftwood beach. Jekyll island is located in Georgia along the alantic ocean coastline.
