Artist Statement Photography has always been important for me as a hobby. As practicing mindfulness became an important part of my life, I encountered the book "The Practice of Contemplative Photography" by Michael Woods and Andy Karr. This changed my whole approach to photography and, as a matter of fact, my life.

I am now practicing Contemplative Photography and consider myself a scholar at the very beginning of an exciting learning journey. The practice is changing me and the way I look at life, it is helping me to be present and become more aware of the ever present beauty that surrounds us.

Through my photos I intend to reach peoples hearts and souls in order to bring more presence, mindfulness and awareness in to the world.
