Artist Statement Prabhash is a human resources strategist with nearly 20 years of executive experience gained from a number of top notch organisations such as MAS Holdings, Next, Columbia and Crystal Group. His latest assignment was with one of the most respected public quoted companies in Sri Lanka which has recently been recognised by Forbes as one of Asia’s 200 Best Under a Billion category as the Head of Human Resources.
He is a specialist in human capital development, employee relations, performance management and labour compliance. He has turned around organisational cultures to deliver the best with the same teams within shorter time spans. He could lead his teams to achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold awards in consecutive years for Social Dialog Excellence which is the highest state recognition that can be gained for best labour practices.
Prabhash holds a Special Degree in Chemistry from the University of Colombo which is complemented with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Diploma in Personnel Management from IPM Sri Lanka. He has further received his executive education from Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL), McKinsey and Company, Nike Inc., BMC Global Services, UK with an extensive training on Industrial Relations and Human Resources by AOTS, Japan.
A proud product of Royal College, Colombo, Prabhash was the Founder President of ORHRPA (Old Royalists’ HR Professionals’ Association) and a former Director of EDEX Careers which is a part of EDEX, the premier educational exhibition in Sri Lanka. Prabhash is a visiting lecturer/resource person of the University of Kelaniya for postgraduate studies, IPM Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD). Further, he is a corporate member of IPM Sri Lanka, SLITAD and Institute of Certified Professional Managers. He has played the roles of a Council Member and the Chairman of National HR Issues Committee whilst serving some of the other critical standing committees of IPM.
